Ensemble XXI Moscow
Ensemble XXI Moscow, founded in 1989 by Irish/NZ Conductor Lygia O’Riordan and noted Finnish violinist/concertmaster Pia Siirala, became the 1st independent and international orchestra in the USSR. The orchestra performs throughout Russia and in a variety of international centres and capitals. It also established the Pacific and Atlantic Rim Music Festivals.
